M.Sc BIOCHEMISTRY

OBJECTIVES

P.G. Degree in Biochemistry has been recently introduced by the Bangalore University. It is a potential subject with a vast scope, providing employment opportunities in the fields of Pharmaceutical Industries, Agriculture, Horiculture, Hospital, Atomic Centres, Research etc., special preference to the students of Biochemistry is given during employment. The course imparts training in all aspects of Biochemistry. The scope and content of the course and the pattern of the University exam shall be as stipulated in the syllabus prescribed by the University.

ELIGIBILITY

The candidate must have secured 40% marks in aggregate and studied Chemistry or Biochemistry (cognate subject) securing 50% marks in this subject at the B.Sc Level and studied Biology 10+2 or Pre-University Level.
