B.C.A. - BACHELOR OF COMPUTER APPLICATION
OBJECTIVES
Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) is a subject of extraordinary scope and vitality. We are only just beginning to realize the implications of using computers to enhance human productivity and creativity. As hardware and software technology have developed, so has the range and nature of computing applications. New insights into parallel processing, program verification and the efficiency of algorithms have resulted.
Change is inevitable as a result of Information Technology. The most exciting aspects of a BCA Program is to develop professionals who will ensure an organisation's success gives a changing environment.
The BCA programmes aims to develop the ability to
1. Interact with real life situations and to build systems which can be efficiently processed on computers.
2. Take up positions as systems managers and project managers in leading IT companies and corporations.
ELIGIBILITY
Students seeking admission to BCA course must have passed Pre-University / Higher Secondary / 10+2 examination or equivalent of any recognised board or council.
